We grew sunflowers from seed last April. On their little pots, we wrote the lyrics of disco songs in bright colours and gave some away as gifts. We would move them around to sunny spots and dance to the tunes. When they outgrew their little pots, we decorated the new ones, naming each after a different disco artist. We gave them so much love and care and when they flowered, they bloomed into an unbelievable array of colours and styles - sunflowers we had never seen before, some with up to 20 flowers on a stem - a disco sunny surprise!
