An exhibition of works created during lockdown by staff, students, and recent graduates across MTU
exploring how the arts have connected and supported us all.
My submission comprises of cast glass sculptures created since the start of our COVID Lockdowns. Each unique piece is created from a mould of a rock at the abandoned copper mines at Allihies in West Cork. I was lucky to have collected these rocks before the introduction of travel restrictions. The title of each piece tells something of the emotion felt during this period.
